India looks for markets for tea in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIndian Tea Association of Manufacturers (Indian Tea Association) hopes to find its niche in the tea market in Azerbaijan and Georgia by means of Turkey, the largest consumer of its tea in the world.
Russia and the CIS countries, including Azerbaijan, annually consume 200-220 million kg of tea, while India exports to the region only about 50 million kg (a quarter of its total exports), the head of the association Azam Monem said, Abc.az reports.
