Pentagon: Ankara should fight against ISIS more actively

Pentagon chief Ashton Carter believes that Turkey should take more intensive efforts in the fight against the terrorist organization Islamic State.

"We want Turkey to take more intensive efforts in the fight against IS," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.

The minister clarified that he primarily meant the return of control over the border with Iraq and Syria, as the militants use it in order to receive assistance.
