More than 40 PKK militants eliminated in northern Iraq

During clashes and air strikes on northern Iraq, the Turkish Armed Forces have eliminated 41 militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Associated Press reports.

According to a representative of the Turkish army, 29 militants were killed during air raids on Thursday and Friday.  

According to the agency, another 12 rebels were killed the day before near the Turkish town of Uludere, located near the border with Iraq.
