Kazakhstani plans to produce high-class pink koumiss
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Traditional Kazakh beverage koumiss (fermented drink made from horses’ milk) may change its traditional white color. This idea belongs to a businessman from the Kazakh capital Yerzhan Tursynbek.
According to a local publication Express K, the idea appeared after the Kazakhstani’s trip to Kenya. When Tursynbek visited a farm, which is located near the Nairobi National Park, he had a chance to sample the milk of a zebra.
