Baku to get acquainted with the culture of Malaysia

The Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia is organizing a Cultural Festival "Days of Malaysia in Azerbaijan" in Baku .

According to the Deputy Head of Ministry, Datuk Abdul Ghaffar, such measures will help to attract more tourists and promote Malaysian culture and arts.

The festival will open on September 18 and will last for three days. Its preparation involves about 40 people.

As part of the "Days of Malaysia in Azerbaijan" the national cuisine will be presented, the sale of handicrafts and souvenirs will be organized, promotional tourist packages will be presented. Also, a collection of clothes from Malaysian batik and songket fabrics will be shown, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
