Yesterday Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan carried out the first consultations with the main political parties of the country on a possible draft constitutional reform. In particular, discussions were held with members of parties represented in the parliament, 'Prosperous Armenia', 'Orinats Yerkir' ('Country of Law') and 'Dashnaktsutiun'.

"There was a discussion of reform of the constitution, the sides highlighted particular provisions of the draft of its changes," TASS quotes the message of the Sargsyan administration.

The parties expressed the need for the fullest consideration of the amendments in Parliament. In turn, representatives of 'Dashnaktsutyun' reported that in the project "they found accents that are acceptable to the party."
