Daimler plans to re-enter the Iranian market

After completion of the agreement reached between Iran and the 'Six' international mediators, Daimler plans to re-enter the Iranian market, complying with the sanctions regime and export control regulations, he stressed.
Earlier, Director General of Iran's Khodro Industrial Group, Hashem Yeke Zareh, declared that Mercedes-Benz is planning to buy 30% of the Iranian Diesel Engine Manufacturing (IDEM) company's shares. In addition, Tehran and Mercedes-Benz will enter into an agreement for a period of 10 years for the production of trucks and buses in Iran, he reported.
In his turn, Mokert did not comment on this information. According to him, "the concern does not comment on matters of contractual relations," Trend noted.
