Levan Gvazava shot in Georgia

The ex-deputy head of the Georgian Interior Ministry, Levan Gvazava, is in a coma after being shot.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office of Georgia, the gunmen were waiting in ambush on the Tbilisi-Tabakhmela road and shot him along with Rezo Kalomletsavi, a relative of the former official.

Kalomletsavi died immediately, Gvazava was seriously wounded in the head and fell into a coma. Now he is connected to a respirator.

The investigation does not have versions of who could have ordered the murder of Levan Gvazava yet.
