Nazarbayev and Erdogan discuss fight against terrorism
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey, Nursultan Nazarbayev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have held a telephone conversation, during which they stressed the need for joint efforts of the international community in order to resist international terrorism, Acorda reports.
"The presidents of the states discussed the conditions and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as a number of current regional and international issues. The two leaders affirmed their commitment to the efforts of the international community in the fight against international terrorism,’’ RIA Novosti cites it.
In addition, they noted the importance of the fifth Summit of Heads of Turkic-speaking countries, which is to be held on September 11th in the capital of Kazakhstan.
