Putin and Medvedev congratulate Lukashenko on his birthday

Today Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is celebrating his 61st birthday.

According to the Kremlin press service, the Belarusian leader was congratulated by his Russian counterpart.

"In a telephone conversation, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on his birthday,’’ RIA Novosti reports.

The two leaders expressed their intention to further develop relations between Moscow and Minsk in the spirit of strategic partnership and discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts.
