Convictions were passed in Iran against two people accused of spying for Israel and the US, with both receiving 10 years of imprisonment,  a spokesman for the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, said.

However, he did not specify who exactly was convicted and did not clarify any details of their crimes.

Despite this, the Iranian media have speculated that it could be about the transfer of information to the CIA. In addition, it is reported that one of the convicts accused of spying and three other crimes could be the Washington Post journalist Jason Rezayan, who was arrested along with his wife Egan Salehi in July 2014,  Trend reports.
