Assad approves plan of Tehran on Syrian settlement

Syrian President Bashar Assad has given a positive review of the peace settlement in the country, which had been previously put forward by Iran, describing it as constructive. This statement was made by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan.

The deputy minister said that Damascus and Tehran are ready to take the implementation of the first steps of this initiative under their control.
