Azerbaijan starts to fill new irrigation canal

Today the ceremony of beginning the filling of a new irrigation canal, which is a part of the Samur-Absheron irrigation system, was held in Azerbaijan.

The channel will link the settlements of Tahtakerpyu and Jeyranbatan and provide artificial watering of fertile land in the Khizi District. President Ilham Aliyev participated in the celebration, abc.az reports.
