The USA plans to return international organizations to Georgia and
call for the non-recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, assistant
of the US Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Philip Gordon said
in an interview with radio 'Freedom', Trend reports.

The OSCE mission in Georgia stopped work in June 2009. Russia imposed
a veto on the mission, claiming it was biased.

The dialogue for stability has been held within Geneva discussions
since October 2008, based on the agreement of the Russian and French
presidents, concluded after the conflict in South Ossetia in August
2008.

Georgia, Russia, USA, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, officials of EU, UN
and OSCE have equal rights at Geneva discussions. The only result of
the meetings is a document containing a mechanism for prevention and
settlement of incidents in the conflict zone.

Gordon noted that USA urges the world not to recognize independence of
Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the two Georgian regions that declared
independence in 2008.
