Suspect in refugee tragedy detained in Turkey

Turkish police detained an individual suspected of human trafficking resulting in the deaths of 12 people off the southern coast of Bodrum.

The suspect was taken into custody, he is accused of “migrant smuggling and causing death voluntarily.”

Earlier, four Syrians were also arrested on September 4th in relation to the Bodrum refugee tragedy, TASS reports.
