Georgian Military Road to be closed for a week at night

The Department of Highways of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has decided to restrict the movement of the part of the Georgian Military Highway Stepantsminda - Lars in the Daryal Gorge. 

The highway that connects Russia and Georgia will be closed from the 8th to 15th of September for any type of vehicle at night, starting from 00:00 am till 05:50 am local time. The movement of passenger cars will be stopped earlier - at 8:30 pm. It also will be forbidden simultaneous moving towards each other for two or more buses, cars with trailers or semi-trailers, Sputnik Georgia reports.

In case of heavy rains the restriction can take into force today.
