Azerbaijan plans to deport illegal immigrants

The deportation of illegal migrants has been discussed Azerbaijan. Thus, the State Migration Service (SMS) of Azerbaijan is to launch a pilot project soon, which is being developed together with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). It is expected that the new program will provide a procedure for the return of illegal migrants to their home countries.

The Deputy Head of the HMS Parviz Musayev said that it is necessary 50 thousand manats for the operationalization of the project. It is being discussed financial sources for the migration program now.

"After solving of the financial issues within one to two months the project it to be started," said Musayev.

He also added that some immigration issues were discussed with IOM Director William Singh, who visited Baku last week, reports Trend.
