Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili stated that, following the target of rapprochement with the EU, it will not interfere in the development of trade and economic relations between Russia and the countries of Asia. The Georgian Prime Minister voiced these thoughts at the World Economic Forum in the Chinese city of Dalian.

Speaking at the session 'Modern Silk Road', the Prime Minister assessed the policy of his party 'Georgian Dream' in relation to its big neighbor as quite pragmatic.

At the same time, Garibashvili said that he is aware of the entire seriousness of any consequences after possible destabilization in Georgia.

"Destabilization of the situation in Georgia is a destabilization of the region, because Georgia is a corridor to the Caucasus. Therefore, we want stability in the region," Interfax quoted him as saying.
