Georgia and Armenia to work together on border customs checkpoints

Georgy Tskhakaya, are on a one-day working visit to Yerevan, Georgia

During the visit they met with the Armenian Head of the Customs and
Tax Committee, Gadik Khachaturian. The main focus of the talks was the
joint management of customs checkpoints and implementation of European
standards for the customs.
As noted at the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to
simplify customs procedures and reduce customs control measures at
checkpoints.
Joint management of customs checkpoints will facilitate the
intensification of trade and economic relations between Georgia and
Armenia in the future.
