Curfew lifted in Cizre, 32 PKK militants killed

A curfew, declared in the southeastern province of Sirnak’s Cizre district on September 13th, has been lifted, the Governorate of the province said.

The curfew was introduced there on September 4th by the head of the Interior Ministry and lifted on September 12th. The Turkish government said that up to 32 Kurdish militants were killed and 10 were arrested and 800 kg of explosives were seized since a military operation in Cizre has begun.
