Sochi to host European Short Track Speed Skating Championship

The European Short Track Speed Skating Championship is to take place in Sochi in 2016.

The original continental championship had been planned to be held in Moscow, but according to today’s statement by the International Skating Union (ISU), the tournament will be held in the capital of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

The European Champions are to take place in January 22-24 at the Iceberg Palace of Sports.
