Iran sees expansion of cooperation among Caspian states
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuchehr Mottaki said that
cooperation between Caspian states has expanded, Trend reports.
Mottaki was speaking at the 27th session for preparation of the
convention on the legal status of the Caspian. Special representatives
of presidents of the Caspian states and deputy ministers of foreign
affairs were at the session, Mehrnews reports.
The Iranian minister said that distribution of the Caspian is an issue
of regional peace and stability. He added that the convention will be
a good basis for development of regional cooperation in the Caspian
Sea, especially in spheres of economy, politics and security.
