Syria may ask for Russian military presence

If necessary the Syrian authorities may ask for the presence of Russian servicemen for the joint fight against terrorism.

According to the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem, Damascus will ask Moscow for help if it is necessary, Gazeta.ru reports.
