The lowest number of car owners are in Chukotka, Chechnya and Ingushetia

Chukotka, Chechnya and Ingushetia are the three regions where there is the least number of vehicles for personal use. 

121 out of 1000 residents in Chechnya and 128 residents in Ingushetia have personal vehicles. Chukotka tops this rating. 75 out of 1000 residents use personal vehicles.

This information was provided on Friday by Autostat. It also indicates that 284 out of 1000 people have cars now in Russia. This is twice the world average indicator, but it is considerably less than the level of the developed EU countries and very little in comparison with the United States.
