Islamic State holds Muslim preachers hostage, media report

In the province of Kirkuk (Iraqi Kurdistan) terrorists of Islamic State (IS) have kidnapped ten Muslim preachers, Iranian television channel Press TV reports.

"In the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk, terrorists of IS kidnapped 10 Muslim preachers and theologians after they refused to swear allegiance to the leader of the group, Ibrahim al-Samarrai. It happened in the town of Hawija, 282 km north of Baghdad," the report said.

"The fate and location of ypreachers remains unknown," TASS cited the report.
