Head of the Rostov region holds meetings in Armenia

Regions of Russia, with their economic opportunities and potential for
cooperation in various fields could be reliable partners for Armenia,
Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan said today at a meeting with a
Russian delegation headed by the Governor of the Rostov region, Vasily
Golubev, News Armenia reports.

Sargsyan stressed in particular the necessity to establish direct
links between the regions and to enhance cooperation, one
manifestation of which is the visit of the governor of Rostov to
Yerevan.

The President also highlighted the role of the large Armenian
community living in different regions of Russia.

Golubev also noted the importance of the Festival of the Days of the
Rostov region in Armenia.
