RF gives Ukraine gas discount

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak has said that Moscow gave Kiev a gas discount in the fourth quarter of this year.

The 20-dollar discount was provided according to a draft decree of the Russian government.

According to Novak, the company Naftogaz Ukrainy applied to Gazprom with a request for a discount.

It should be noted that Russian gas supplies cannot start earlier than October 1st after Kiev’s payment.
