Poroshenko hopes to meet with Obama

Ukraine’s presidential administration is working on organizing a full format meeting of President Petro Poroshenko with US leader Barack Obama, a representative of the administration, Yuri Ruban, said.

"It’s clear that there is a chance for a brief meeting with the US president and it will probably be fulfilled," he said.

Ruban hopes that this meeting will not just be a protocol one. "We would like it to be more substantive, as we have a big package of issues that are now locked by the decision of the US president," TASS cited him as saying.
