Turkish army attacked by PKK in southeastern Turkey

Militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have attacked the Turkish army in Turkey’s Sirnak province. Two soldiers were killed and nine were injured, the General Staff of Turkey said.

"The security operations, assisted by Turkish Air Force helicopters and drones, are ongoing. 34 PKK militants were rendered ineffective," RIA Novosti reports.
