Russian army to receive cutting-edge fighter jets in two years

The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force, Colonel-General Viktor Bondarev, stated today that the cutting-edge fifth generation fighter T-50 (PAK FA), according to current tests, will enter into service of the Russian army in 2017.

"So far, all tests are following the program which was approved earlier. The complex confirms of all of its characteristics. And I think that, according to the program, next year we will finish testing and begin to receive the T-50 in 2017," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
