Medvedev: Engineering may become a "locomotive" of import substitution

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated that engineering is a significant industry of the Russian economy. He also congratulated the employees and veterans of the engineering industry on their professional holiday, which is celebrated in the country today.

According to Medvedev, today, when the country is on a course of import substitution, engineering can become a "locomotive that will pull all other industries behind itself," providing an impetus for the opening of high-tech productions, investments and so on.
