France joins air strikes on IS positions in Syria

France has joined the air strikes on the positions of the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) in Syria. Today the country's Air Force attacked militants' positions for the first time.

Earlier, French President Francois Hollande informed that the participation of the French Air Force in air strikes on the positions of IS in Syria is necessary, RIA Novosti reported.
