Mammadyarov: Mechanism is required for withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Nagorno-Karabakh

According to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, a mechanism of investigation into incidents on the territory of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh can be discussed only if it promotes strengthening of the status quo, which isn’t recognized by the heads of the co-chairing countries, as well as the justification of the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.

The Minister also added that it is necessary to work out a plan and a mechanism for the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, as ‘incidents’ occur because of the occupation of the Azerbaijani lands and the presence of the armed forces of Armenia on these territories.
