UN Deputy Secretary General: The Syrian crisis cannot be resolved without Russia, the USA, Iran, Sau

According to Deputy UN Secretary-General Jan Eliassonan, "an innovative combination of diplomacy and engagement of regional forces’’ is required in order to defeat terrorism in the Middle East.

He also added that the conflict won’t be resolved without the help of "powerful forces such as Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey," as well as expressing hope that Russian-American cooperation on the Syrian crisis will only become stronger.

In addition, Eliasson said the old ways of settlement of international conflicts don’t work when we use them, trying to solve the current problems.
