Nazarbayev meets with heads of major US companies

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has discussed the prospects of cooperation with the top managements of major US companies.

According to the press service of the Kazakh President, he met with the leaders of major US companies and financial institutions such as the Guggenheim, JP Morgan, Pfizer, Blackstone and Cisco Systems.

Nazarbayev drew the attention of the participants to the fact that nowadays US companies are represented in practically all spheres of the Kazakh economy, calling on the US companies to promote cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.

Special attention was paid to the forthcoming EXPO-2017 and establishment of the Astana International Financial Center on its basis. He also expressed confidence that US companies would actively join these projects.

The US businessmen, in their turn, noted Kazakhstan's efforts to improve its investment attractiveness, Trend reports.
