France ready to work on Syrian conflict with Russia and Iran

France is ready to work with Russia and Iran in order to settle the Syrian conflict, but not with President Bashar al-Assad. This was announced today in New York before Francois Hollande’s speech in the framework of the 70th UN General Assembly, French President said.

According to him, Moscow and Tehran say that they want to be more involved in the political solution. "We need to work with these countries, making them understand that the resolution of the conflict and the transition should take place, but without Bashar al-Assad,’’ Gazeta.ru cites Francois Hollande.
