State awards were given to cultural figures in the Bolshoi Theatre

In Moscow, at the Imperial Hall of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, an awards ceremony was held for workers of culture and the arts with state awards of the Russian Federation. Honorary awards from the hands of the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinskiy were given to soloist-vocalist of Mosconcert Oleg Pogudin, actor of the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya Ivan Shabaltas, Artist of the Bolshoi Theatre ballet Ruslan Skvortsov, singer Kai Metov, actress Vera Sotnikova, actor Alexander Oleshko, production director Renata Litvinova, ballet artist of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Igor Moiseyev Olga Volina, Rector of Theatre Institute of Boris Shchukin Yevgeny Knyazev, and many others. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, production director Renata Litvinova recieved a Pushkin medal, which is given to Russian citizens and foreigners for achievements in the field of culture and arts, education, humanities and literature.
