Zakharova: Russia hasn't even started operation in Syria, and there are already false reports

The Russian Foreign Ministry's official representative Maria Zakharova described Western media reports about the fact the main goal of the Russian air strikes in Syria are the forces of the opposition, and the victims are civilians, propagandistic and false.

"Russia has not even started the operation on combating ISIS, which, as has been said many times, is being carried out at the request of the Damascus government, the first words of Lavrov at the UN Security Council have not even been voiced, and there are already many reports in the media about civilians being killed in the course of Russian operations, and that it is aimed at the democratic forces of the country," Interfax quoted her as saying.

"All of this is an information attack, a war, about which we have heard so many times," she stressed.
