Russian pilots destroy several command posts of IS

As a result of air strikes inflicted by Russian military pilots during the operation launched today in Syria, several command posts of the terrorist organization Islamic State were destroyed, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major-General Igor Konashenkov reported.

"As a result of the air strikes, storages of ammunition, weapons, fuel and lubricants, and accumulations of military equipment were destroyed. Command posts of IS militants in the mountainous area were completely destroyed," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

"All strikes were inflicted after an aerial survey and clarification of data obtained from the headquarters of the Syrian army," he added.
