Russian manufacturing industry is stabilizing

The purchasing managers' index (PMI) of manufacturing industries of the Russian economy reached a level of 49.1 points in September, which is 1.2 points higher than in August, a report prepared by Markit says.

"The main factor of the increase of the PMI index in September was the improvement in production after a period of decline. In particular, the group of manufacturers of intermediate goods showed good growth on both counts," Gazeta.ru reports.
