2,000 contraband turtles from Kazakhstan confiscated in Siberia

Customs officers have found a contraband batch with turtles in the Novosibirsk Oblast imported for sale to the territory of Russia. 

There were more than 2,000 Central Asian land (steppe) turtles, registered in the International Red Book, the Siberian operative customs reported.
