Georgia celebrates Georgian Wine Day

Today the Day of Georgian Wine is being celebrated for the second time. The holiday was established in the country last year, on the initiative of its Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

Today's event will start with the opening of the Center of Georgian Wine at the National Wine Agency, in which the museum will be located.

In the restaurants and supermarkets which joined in with the celebration, wine corners will be organized, where visitors will be congratulated with a glass of wine and where they will recieve a gift card with a gift set.

Everyone who arrives in Georgia today by plane will get souvenirs at the airports and will be able to take part in tastings, Georgia Online reports.
