Armenia to hold Azerbaijani film festival

Yerevan will host an Azerbaijani film festival on November 12-13,
organized by the Caucasian Center for Peacekeeping Initiatives. The
Armenian press report that the competition program contains 4 films –
one documentary and 3 feature films, ANS TV channel said.


The director of the center, Georgy Vanyan, said that after watching
the films they will have discussions and the winner will receive the
Audience Award. On November 13 the festival has a scheduled
presentation of a feature film. The makers of the films will not visit
Armenia.  It has not yet been clarified which films will be screened.


Vanyan emphasized that the main goal of the festival is to support
dialogue between the two countries. The festival will be held in an
ordinary apartment in Yerevan, located at 5 Tamanyan Street.
