Ireland about to purchase Russian aircraft

The UK has shown interest in purchasing the Russian aircraft SuperJet-100 (SSJ-100).

It is reported that the corporation Sukhoi Civil Aircraft is negotiating with the Irish carrier CityJet, which may order about five Russian aircraft.

Earlier, the head of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that a foreign company from Europe was interested in purchasing aircraft. 

The preliminarily amount of the transaction hasn’t been announced, but it is known that credit and leasing financing schemes of Vnesheconombank can be used during the transaction, Gazeta.ru reports.
