Steinmeier to visit Tehran on October 17

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will arrive in Tehran for a visit on October 17, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Iran reported.

"In ten days the German foreign minister will visit Iran and meet with (Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad) Zarif. The visit will last for two days," RIA Novosti cites the report.

The source noted that Steinmeier's visit is intended to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. In addition, the agenda of the talks will include the situation in the Middle East.
