North Ossetia activates work with federal physical fitness and sports programme

North Ossetia has opened multifunctional fields at schools this year,
within the framework of the programme for integrating sports schools
with educational institutions, RIA Novosti reports.

The main goal of the school education concept was formed by Sergey
Dzantiyev: an educational structure should be a center of education,
health, sports and creativity, the head of the education department of
Vladikavkaz, Alexei Tmenov said.

Tmenov also said that in 2011-2013 Vladikavkaz will realize the
long-term municipal program entitled ‘School – a center of the
socio-cultural complex’. The program includes cultural and sports
development by making stadiums, sports centers and computer rooms more
accessible for students.

He noted that 2011 will be a year of sports, mass physical fitness and
a healthy way of life in Vladikavkaz.

North Ossetia is constructing a sports complex with a universal sports
hall in Alagir, within the framework of the federal programme of
developing physical fitness and sports in Russia for 2006-2015.
