Kudrin: It is time for Russian government to reduce subsidies to state companies

The Russian government should start systematically reducing subsidies to state companies. A former head of the Ministry of Finance, Alexey Kudrin, stated this in Peru at the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of World Banks and the IMF.

"I think it would be right to systematically reduce subsidies to state companies over the next three years," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The former head of the Ministry of Finance noted that it is one of the largest sources that could temporarily support the budget balance under the existing expenditure.
