Terrorist attack in Ankara won't affect conduct of parliamentary elections in Turkey
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA senior official of the Turkish authorities reported today that the date of the parliamentary elections in the country will not change, despite the terrorist attack in Ankara which occurred yesterday.
He noted that postponement of the elections because of the attack is not on the agenda at all, even as an option. "Elections will be held on November 1st, just as planned," gazeta.ru quotes the source as saying.
In addition, he drew attention to the fact that because of the growing risks, the security of the electoral events, which is already enhanced, will be strengthened even more.
