Paris agrees to extradite Ablyazov to Russia

France has agreed to extradite the former head of BTA Bank, Mukhtar Ablyazov, to Russia, AFP reports.

The decision on extradition was signed by French Prime Minister Manuel Valls on September 17. Ablyazov was notified about it last week. The ex-banker is going to appeal the decision, RIA Novosti reports.

Ablayzov was arrested in 2013.
