Former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan passes away

The former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Balgimbayev, has died at the age of 68 after a long and serious illness.

He served as the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan from 1997 to 1999.

He also served as the Minister of Oil and Gas and as President of KazakhOil, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.
